Winter
For guests coming to ski
Five minutes by car to Welli Hilli Park — close enough to come back and warm up mid-day.
Five minutes to the lifts
Welli Hilli Park is a five-minute drive away. Skiing, snowboarding and a sledding hill mean a group with different tastes can still go together. You can set off early with your gear, come back at lunchtime to warm up, and head out again — close enough that you do not need to stay on the slopes themselves.
Somewhere warm to come back to
Some rooms have a spa tub inside. After a day in the cold you can slip into warm water without stepping outside again. Every room has its own bathroom and a kitchenette, so cooking dinner in is easy.

Barbecue in winter too
In winter and in the rain, the indoor barbecue area is available. Charcoal and a grill are available for a fee (₩15,000 for two people, ₩5,000 per extra person); basic seasonings are free. You only need to bring the food itself.
Heating from December to February
Heating is prepared for the winter months. Every room has heating and air conditioning, so you will not need heavy layers indoors.

Driving after snow
It is about ten minutes from the Dunnae IC on the Yeongdong Expressway. After snowfall the hill roads can ice over, so snow chains or winter tyres are the safer choice. Without a car, it is roughly a ten-minute taxi ride from Dunnae KTX station.
Beyond the slopes
The charcoal kilns at the Gangwon Charcoal Village draw the most visitors in winter — you warm yourself in the residual heat of a kiln, quite unlike a sauna. Chiaksan National Park under snow is also close by, so you can split the trip between a ski day and something else.
